Shakes Custard in Destin

Best shakes and sundaes we've had in the last few years. The menu takes a little bit of time to figure out how what to order, it is well worth it. Fast but not the friendliest service in the middle of the day. But didn't matter quality to shakes were just that good. Ended up going back here the next day because they were that good.

Looved the concrete cookie dough milkshake. Best I've ever had.

Very good frozen custard. Highly recommend. Nacho fritos are very spicy

Waited at the window for 45 minutes in line ...kids standing around and acting like it was training night. I open the window and ask if there was anyone taking orders. Everyone looked at me including the young boy that seemed like the manager. No one responded. Then my husband ask and they said the window was closed. Lived here for 13 yr first time to try it, couldn't get served... will NEVER return!! I've been in management all my life... this place needs some serious help.... wouldn't recommend to anyone!!

Always go here when in Destin. There's something about eating ice cream when you've been at the beach all day. Highly recommend this place.

Custard was good as usual . It's odd the service is worse in the middle of the day than at night when they are super busy. Still some of the best ice cream/custard I have eaten . I had the seasonal special the strawberry shortcake. Very good . I have had lots of concretes but first time having a strawberry shortcake.

Delicious base custard, and quick service during a very busy time, but the amount of mix-ins in my concrete were pretty skimpy (I even paid for double peanut butter) and barely mixed in, they were all at the top. For $8+, I expected it to be better blended with a generous amount of added flavor, especially when I paid for extra. It still hit the spot, though. Some more attention to detail (even 10 more seconds in the mixer) would earn the 5 star spot.

Cute spot as im originally from chicago before fl past 5 yrs but wish they has vienna hot dogs also and more side options.

I wish I could go back again this week. We were visiting on our honeymoon and I know ice cream may be the target but my oh my THE CLASSIC POLISH WITH THE CHILI AND COLESLAW IS THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD!

I'll always have great memories of making day trips to Destin from pensacola with some of my high school friends. This place was always one of the highlights. The best shakes I've ever had and brings back memories when I go there.

Food was great! But the service was ahhh. For my long wait they did give me a few vouchers. Which I appreciated, but my order was still wrong after the wait. Not a huge deal through. I still recommend this as a delicious treat!

This is a raspberry custard concrete. They use fresh raspberries in it. Absolutely delicious!

I'm pretty sure I've deemed this a new food group! I've had to increase my running on the beach so I can have my strawberry cheesecake concrete! Mmmmm absolutely amazing! Locals and tourist, make sure you hit this place at least once! This is coming from a true local. Born and raised! Phenomenal service and food!

I wish I read some of the reviews here before getting the mint chocolate chip concrete. It was sub-par. The chocolate chips in it were just not good. Hard to explain, but seems like I am not the only one with this complaint. Honestly I found their custard to be slightly too sweet. Hard to say no to something because it is too sweet. So, of course, I ate it all and enjoyed it. This may be the best custard place in Destin, but definitely not the best custard place I’ve eaten at. Prices were at some premium as well, but expected in a summer destination.

Amazing place and amazing staff. I got the brownie and vanilla and it was so good! Even if there is a line the wait time is very minimal. I honestly can't get over how friendly and accommodating they are. We will definitely be back.

Prices are a little high for the portions, but the quality is consistently great. The chocolate custard has a rich, deep flavor. It's also the only place in town to get a real Chicago dog, even if they don't have poppy seed buns.

Awesome shakes, but none of the employees wear masks, I saw a lot of chinstraps and pieces of cloth covering only a mouth with an exposed nose, but not a single mask in sight 🤷‍♀️Las visited 7/30/2020

Slightly pricey but very tasty.

We had custard there literally every night!! The "Leroy Brown" was AMAZING!! And all the employees were SUPER sweet!! We WILL be back!!

Great shakes and concretes. Well worth the price. Parking is difficult if crowded, but service is fast and friendly. Highly recommend!

A great place for a cool treat. We walked up just before they closed and it was still fantastic. They were very friendly didn't seem to mind us being there so late. If you're looking for a sweet treat in Destin then you owe it to yourself to stop in. They have a vast menu selection and their custard is fantastic. Peanut butter treats are my favorite and they do it right!

It was ok...people seem to love it, but it's a tourist town! The line is always super long and goes into the street. I walked up and it was quicker! There's nowhere to really park if I want to walk up. Nothing to jump up and down about. I only had the Destin Slaw Dog. The ice cream/ concrete was to expensive for my taste. I've eaten at places like Freddy's which also serves burgers and fries, with their concrete and I was very disappointed so I didn't want to waste my money again. Their sides are weird, like coleslaw, pickles, chips..smh! Must be a Florida thing.

Concretes the best. Out of Pecans. Interesting names to shakes such as Bad Bad Leroy Brown and Hunka Hunka but not on the menu. Busy place. Walk up/ Drive through only

Pretty solid for a customer shop. They have a wide variety of options and it tasted good I did not like the pumpkin cheesecake however. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is limited our seating for folks to sit and enjoy the Florida weather. I would likely come here for ice cream again

The banana shake is amazing and make sure to add whipped cream.

Good experience, but I wasn't happy with the quality of my shake. I got the Mint Chocolate Chip condensed shake and the chips just tasted off. Closest thing I can compare it to is the chocolate chips that come in those "mini oven" kits for kids. The customer service and speed were great though. Overall not a bad spot, just don't expect high quality.

Excellent custard with a million options. We ended up getting a caramel and cookie dough custard as well as a peanut butter & brownie custard. They were both extremely rich and i couldn't finish my regular size. The peanut butter was the better of the choices. I'd say the prices are a bit high for what you get. Our bill was over $12 for 2 regular size custards.

Very good custard with a convenient drive thru. My husband loves Malt Milkshakes, they are hard to find these days, even Sonic got rid of malt. He said this was the best malt he'd ever had! They accommodated my orders for the kids well. It's a bit pricy but worth it for a treat!

We were driving through and I seen it ,and told my husband we needed to try it before we went home. Well we went and tried it that night and by far amazing!! Yum! Yum! I had a chocolate concrete with cookie dough mixed in. Amazing! Had cookie dough in every bite. Can't get better than that. Fun place to get ice cream.

The icecream was well worth the wait. Chocolate base with cheese cake pieces and oreos. So Good. It tasted just like a chocolate cheesecake. My friends got the Leroy brown and the pink poodle and they were delicious also.
